Brytin® Professional Chinchilla Feed was formulated by PhD nutritionists in collaboration with industry professionals. Brytin Professional Chinchilla Feed is being made available to chinchilla enthusiasts worldwide, so that they may use the same proven formula that is used to produce many of the world’s finest hobbyist and show chinchillas represented by Chinchillas.com.

When thinking about chinchilla nutrition, it is important to realize that many health problems start with improper diet. The chinchilla’s number one line of defense against pathogens and disease is its own immune system, which depends strongly on nutrition and the gut microbiome. Chinchillas require high levels of amino acids from a variety of different protein sources, with a heavy emphasis on methionine and lysine. Chinchillas also benefit from seaweed meal – a natural source of highly absorbable micronutrients that support endocrine and reproductive health. While taking into consideration the digestive process of the chinchilla, and also knowing the species-specific requirements of the heavily furred chinchilla, skilled nutritionists have created this high quality complete feed to provide the ‘building blocks’ necessary for a strong immune system and optimal health.
